Butch moved to Abilene in 1963 with his family and is a 1966 graduate from Abilene High School. From there he attended Abilene Christian University where he earned a degree in Agriculture Business with stops in Cisco, Lubbock, and the United States Navy.

Butch started his real estate career in 1970 with his Father-in-Law W.H. (Bill) Varner, the Dean of Farm & Ranch Sales in Abilene and the Big Country. Butch obtained his Texas real estate brokers license in 1972.

Butch has been extremely active in the Appraisal Profession, receiving his General Appraiser Certification in 1991 as well as becoming an ARA (Accredited Rural Appraiser) for the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers. Over the span of his 54-year career, Butch has served on many State and Federal Boards. He recently received an award from the Society for his 50 years of membership.

Jeff comes to us from the Pacific Northwest, born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He is an Airforce Veteran and was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base here in Abilene. While in the Air Force Jeff met his wife, who was born and raised in Abilene. They have been married since 2005 and have three baseball loving boys.

After being honorably separated from the Airforce, Jeff pursued a career in wind energy accepting a job as a wind turbine technician for GE Power & Renewables. An on-the-job injury led to Jeff attending Hardin-Simmons University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance where interest was sparked in real estate.

After completing an internship under A.E. (Butch) Nelson, he gained his Texas Real Estate License and Appraiser Certification. Jeff has been appraising and helping buyers and sellers of Texas real estate since 2020.
